[[Katherine Knight]] is the highest level research scientist currently running the project to try and find a way to use the [[Teravere]] virus as an effective weapon to aid [[Section 31]]’s current aims.

Her life began on [[Betazed]] before she joined [[Starfleet Academy]] once turning 18. Soon after her third year in the science program, she began to realize that [[Starfleet]]’s aims were not the same as her own. Working in secret, she began to try and develop weapons using [[Borg Nanoprobe|Borg Nanites]]. Her research project was discovered and she was court-martialed.
Just before her sentencing, she met with a man who was to change her life and destiny, [[Alexander Knight]]. He offered her the chance to work with a group of people that, not only shared her views on the [[Federation]] but, actively encouraged them and would give her the opportunity to carry on her work.

Soon after joining Section 31, she became involved with Alexander Knight and soon became his wife. Now, she is Chief Scientist aboard the S31 base, [[Raven’s Nest Station|Raven's Nest]], and is responsible for the creation of the [[Signos Thread]]. After loosing her main subject, [[Jessica Signos]], to Captain [[Ahmed Ibn Salid]] and his rescue party, she turned her attention to the Teravere virus.

Realizing it’s potential as a weapon, she is currently working on a way to deploy this as a weapon.

Katherine is 6-foot tall with long red hair and dark eyes. She is a full telepath and is dedicated to her work and her husband. She has no problems in using others to the point of destruction if it helps further her projects and is currently the only person that can control Lily, being the one that implanted the persona within Jessica's Psyche.
