The Spiral Geometry Drive aka The Twister, is a new type of warp drive that was installed on the USS Firebrande, brought from another dimension by Remae Ktell as he desperately wanted to find a way to return to this universe and the civil war.
This drive has now also been installed on the USS Rosenante for full deployment.
