| it is the fleets that play the biggest part in both
| |
| sector exploration and Federation Defense.<br>

| From there, the fleet breaks down into Tactical

| Wings, Battle Group, then to Single Vessels. <br>

| In the current time-line, just after the Dominion
| |
| War, there are fifty-six full fleets with the standard

| group of un-affiliated vessels (Known as the Phantom
| |
| Fleet) that serve as backup and for mobility. <br>
