The USS Firebrande has been left at the disposal of the senior staff of Spacedock Phoenix, she is a heavily modified Galaxy Class Starship, she has one of the most efficient warp-drives of any ship in Starfleet and the engineers and other warp specialists are constantly testing new ideas on warp and impulse propulsion.
Although attached to Phoenix, she has been tasked for missions inside the 52nd Fleet as well.
