| "He has a flair for hand to hand combat with swords and is a master swords man. He enjoys spending time on the holodeck fighting, and training in the art of Melee Weaponary.
| |
| | |
| Although Jono doesnt have any real opponents that he can strive to beat on the Champlain, he uses the holodeck to simulate battles of history and he takes part in them."
| |
| | |
| Rumor has it, however, that a new crew member, one Brianna Frazier, may soon present a serious challenge to Jono's own opinion of his swordsmanship.

| I dont know if i mentioned it in the Bio/wiki. If i didnt i will add it soon, Janeway is extremly experienced and has trained in the sword for over 24 years (since he was 4) -- Jono Bradley

| | |
| *Four? Most swords are way too heavy for a four year old to use (even scaled down to their size). I, personally, am a fencer, and trained at the same school that was the training center for the US Women's National and Olympic Team. Most fencers who are going for the long haul don't pick up a weapon before the age of 8 or so, as before then fine motor control and physical stamina just hasn't developed to really do any training. -- PDennett
| |
| | |
| Yup 4. He wasnt using real swords at that point, so no they wernt very heavy ;) -- Jono Bradley

| So what were they, Jono? Plastic? Cardboard tubes like you get out of rolls of paper towels? Pieces of slatwood? What? -herbalsheila
