The USS Hades is a Prometheus Class starship serving the [[52nd Fleet]]. It is under the command of Captain [[Devan Sash]].
The USS Hades is one of several Prometheus Class starships currently serving in Starfleet. A core ship of the [[52nd Fleet]] during the [[Federation Civil War]] the hades found itself performing complex and hazardous missions that ultimately assisted in the successful restoration of the [[United Federation of Planets]].

The crew of the Hades are diverse and battle-tested. They have often found themselves forced to deal with intense situations that require the firepower and instincts of a combat-ready crew. The Vessel, although still a Tactical heavy Cruiser, has also begun undertaking scientific and navigational surveys in a fleet returning to their pre-war status.

The USS Hades has been in Spacedock for weeks, but now she has been released and is headed for the sub-space river as part of her shake-down cruise. In the aftermath of the civil war, the New Federation is starting to rebuild, and as plans are put in to action, the Federation looks set to become a greater empire than it ever was.
 
The idea of this new Federation has peaked the interest of it neighbours, namely the [[Romulan Star Empire]].  The new [[Romulan Praetor]] and his [[Romulan Senate|Senate]] have expressed a desire to establish a new peace treaty, and build bonds of friendship and generally improve relations within the quadrant.
 
As a result, the USS Hades has been ordered to transport an ambassador to meet with the [[Romulan Praetor|Praetor]] on [[Romulus]] and discuss details of this new treaty. While this is taking place, the USS Hades and her crew are to be on standby, to assist the ambassador, and ultimate to the bring him home.


According to intelligence reports, members of the [[Romulan Senate|Imperial Senate]] have already expressed objections to the peace treaty.  With tensions mounting and old racial intollerances surfacing, the crew must keep a level head and be prepared for anything in Tribuo Senatus: A Senate Divided.

The USS Hades is one of several Prometheus Class starships currently serving in Starfleet.
