Taya's Life

Taya is a Female Human aged 25. Her Parents were coveted scientists who were killed in a Cardassian raid on Dorvan V. Taya was only four at the time and was rased by friends of the family. Taya fully embraced the American Indian way of life and it is her rock that keeps her grounded in times of crisis. Before joining the academy Taya was accepted into the Janeway Institute for Young Scientists. While there Taya became the youngest person to receive the Janeway Science Awad. After graduating there with full hounours Taya lived on her own in Starfleet accomodation till Nicola Dwelly needed a roommate. The American Indian and half Klingon became the unlikliest of best friends but both managed to exorcise their personal ghosts. Taya has now rejoined the academy after graduating a first time to become the ACSO Ensign SG onboard the USS Hades. Her break from Starfleet was influenced by personal need and while back on Dorvan a traveller led her through the space-time contiuum to restart her starfleet career even though all can remember her in Starfleet.

Eye Colour: Mostly blue/green but it changes with her mood. Sometimes if she gets really angry the wolf in her will shine through her eyes.

Hair Colour: Dark Red

Blood Colour: Red

Skin Colour: Slightly tanned

Physical Description: Quite short and slim but has powerful muscles. has dark red hair and an ink tattoo of the symbol of her tribe on the left hand side of her face.

Family and Background

Grew up on Dorvan V in the wake of the Cardassion obliteration of it. Had to help rebuild it from an early age with friends as all family members died at the hands of the Cardassions. Contemplated joining the Maquis before a federation ship visited and showed her a better way of living. Always honoured her Tribe's ways throught her spirit guide and vision quests.

Pre-Starfleet History

Helped to rebuild Dorvan V after the Cardassians obiterated it. Acted as a counsellor to the people there. Was accepted into the Janeway Institute for Young Scientists and was awarded with the Janeway Science ribbon for long standing acheivement.

Medical History

Hates having to go to doctors and so avoids it whenever she can - apart from that she has no illnesses or things wrong with her; except a tendency to drink too much coffee.
