The USS Tripoli was a Federation Starship of the Sovereign Class.
The ship served with distinction through out is career, mediating several diplomatic meetings, as well as conducting a great many humanitariam missions as well.
They assisted with the quarantine and the relief of the Rigelian Kassaba Fever outbreak in 2395.
The ship was destroyed in combat at the Battle of Cardassia in 2305. Among notable crew that once served aboard that vessel was Lieutenant Commander Salid ibn Jaffar, father of Captain Ahmed Ibn Salid, commanding officer of the USS Rosenante
