Orions are a green skinned species hailing from Orion. Males of the species are typically larger and stronger than humans, females however bear closer resemblance to Human body type. First contact occured in 2154 when the Federation vessel Enterprise (NX-01) encountered them during a boarding exercise designed to accumilate stock to be sold as slaves.
Their rather unsavoury past though has not prevented this species from both associating with and serving within Starfleet's ranks.
One character currently using Starbase Geneva as a platform for furthering his plans is Lord Gled Forsch
His background activities have made him quite wealthy and furthering his plans for eventual ascendancy within the Kintara Syndicate
