Tantalus V is the fifth planet of the Tantalus star system and was the site of the Tantalus Colony in the late 23rd century. (TOS: "Dagger of the Mind")
Mirror Universe[edit]
In the Mirror Universe Lieutenant Commander James Kirk visited Tantalus V after the death of the entire command crew of the ISS Farragut. It was here that he and Marlena Moreau discovered the Tantalus Device Which would later help him rise to the captaincy of the ISS Enterprise.
