It has been attached into Starfleet medical along with Albatross Organisation as part of its long range medical disaster planning. The vessels are used for missions that are inherently dangerous for ships and its crews. The vessels patrol singly or in pairs and react to any hazardous or Search and Rescue mission which falls into their remit as well as the transport and logistics for the Outbreak Response Teams. Their mission parameters are wide and varied from long range Search and Rescue, hazardous exploration to responding planetary disasters and global pandemics as well as salvage missions. | ||
