History, Education and Skills
Family and Background
Her father was a Vulcan scientist and her mother was a female human from Switzerland. Not much is known about them as neither attained any reputation. However, Because of the political climate on Vulcan at the time of T’Pia’s birth her mother took her to live on various planets. (But for unknown reasons did not return the child to Earth). Her mother eventually returned to Vulcan (sometime around T’Pia’s twentieth birthday) and T’Pia was able to get to know her father and experience life as a true Vulcan.
Education
Vulcan Nurse Corp., Starfleet Academy (Vulcan)
Pre-Starfleet History
Planet hopping with her mother and for her own cultural awareness she was returned to Vulcan. Her education in the Vulcan Nurse Corp. left her with enough experience to apply for a Doctorate … but she declines the position … preferring a life of service rather than recognition.
Starfleet History
Medical History
There is very little to report as far as medical conditions is concerned. Despite the inherent differences of Vulcan and Human physiology T’Pia is in good health due to inheriting primarilyher father’s genes. However, recently, the treatment of a young human patient, Ardena Carrow, has led to a question of mental health.
Skills
You could very well be reading the Starfleet record of an adequate doctor. However, T’Pia chooses to remain ‘in the shadows’ for fear of both her mixed heritage as well as an extension of her mother and gather’s old secretive fears.
