S/he was home schooled because of hir fathers, position. S/he enjoyed the engineering tutorials and favored small intricate work. S/he went on to study at oxford in cybernetics and starship construction. Hir grades favored the practical engineering. Once leaving the university s/he headed to Starfleet Academy and the engineering corps.

Pre-Starfleet History

M'Elissa has been studying cybernetics as a hobby. After hir failure to gain a passing grade in University, s/he has continued hir study throughout the academy and would, if taking the exams again pass without problem.

S/he has had problems integrating hir mixed gender. She suffers from mild depression from the reactions of men s/he has dated definitely is more feminine than masculine.

Hobbies

S/he loves to build miniatures of ships and systems, and has spent the last 6 years working on a project, to create the perfect search and rescue assistant, in the form of a cybernetic dragon. The neural net for which was based on her own. She has followed the cybernetic work of all experts in the area. S/he also loves to hunt, and has a small collection of Melee weapons from various cultures, and knows how to use each one effectively, but is not as blood thirsty as a klingon.
