==Physical Description:==
Tallish and of average build, Andrew has pale skin, black hair and a sparkle of intelligence can usually be seen in his pale blue eyes.

==Background:==
Son of famed roboticist Dr. [[Bruce Maddox]], and one of his fellow scientists who helped with his projects. Andrew's mother died in a laboratory explosion. He was raised mostly by his father and the occasional sitter, when Dr. Maddox's experiments didn't allow a child in the building. Dr Maddox currently teaches at Star Fleet command as the robotics / cybernetics instructor. 

==Education:==
Primary Schooling at Star Fleet Headquarters, his father enrolled him there so that he could still see him everyday. He attended college at the University of Berkley, where he majored in Astronomy and Astral Physics. He then attended Star Fleet Academy, Majoring in Science (specializing in Computers and Robotics/Cybernetics) and minoring in Engineering. After the Academy he attended the Daystrom Institute and furthered his education in Science and his specialties. 

==Pre-Starfleet:==
Star Fleet Brat, Andrew largely stayed in the area that used to be the State of California. Primary School in San Fransisco, College at Berkley, then Andrew joined Star Fleet Academy.

==Starfleet:==
His first ship assignment was a research vessel assigned to the core Federation worlds. (Due to calling in quite a few favors by his father, unbeknown to Andrew) The need for cutting edge scientists in exploration vessels, was too much to ignore, and finally even the pull of Doctor Maddox, couldn't keep Andrew away, and he was assigned to the Rosenante.

==Medical:==
Largely fairly healthy, no major diseases, no broken bones. Largely because of being a "city boy" and practically being sheltered by his father because of the sudden loss of his mother. 

==Hobbies:==
Andrew is largely a science nerd. He spends a lot of his free time actually doing his work. He occasionally plays piano, and is quite respectable, at first he didn't like it at all, until he figured out it was a lot like mathematics, then he did it more on his free time. Due to the fact that he becomes a spaz every time a lady is around that he's interested in, and that he's a light weight when it comes to alcohol, he has very little of a social life.

==Skills:==
Andrew has an affinity for numbers and tends to on average solve mathematical equations faster in a crunch then most of his peers. He also has a near eidetic memory, being able to recall small details that most individuals miss. Astronomy, Astral Physics, Computers and Robotics/Cybernetics are his strong sciences. Sometimes being present in his father's research lab has given Andrew a leg up on those subjects, having prior experience. However, being an officer is rather new to Andrew. He has little to no concept of accounting for other people, other then the lectures on leadership he got from the academy, he has no knowledge of and certainly no practical knowledge on the subject.
