Editing Brekkian

The Brekkians were the elite ruling class that governed and oversaw the Ornarans from their own homeworld Brekka. They achieved this control through addicting them to the drug Felicium, which was only available on Brekka itself. Initially, this drug was used to combat a deady plague which although subsequently wiped out, the Brekkians sought to exploit the situation by pretending that it was still active and rife in order that they could continue to 'sell' the drug to the Ornarans.

A side effect of the drug Felicium, was the gradual loss of intelligence in the Ornaran people, which once again the Brekkians exploited to their advantage.
