Editing Cereus

[[Cereus]] was the high priestess of the goddess [[Alazara]] on the [[planet]] [[Iradon]]. She was the pentultimate leader of that sects rebellion against the male-dominated nobility that ruled that world.

In 2407, when the planet Iradon crossed over into our universe, Cereus was advised of the crash landing of [[Rank|Lieutenant Colonel]] [[Eva Straton]], who had encountered the planet at the time of it's appearance. 

Suffering from a chemical imbalance in her brain and amnesia brought on by an acute blow to the head suffered in the crash of her runabout, Eva was convinced by Cereus that she was the [[The Anointed|Anointed of Alazara]] and destined by prophesy to lead an army of [[Iradonian]]s in revolt against their oppressors. 

Having no other reference, Eva joined the cause and was responsible, under Cereus' guidance for the wholesale destruction of those that opposed the sect.

Only a rescue party from the [[USS Kitty Hawk]] peopled by [[USS Boudicca]] [[Rank|crew]] was able to bring Eva safely home, although the [[Prime Directive]] was violated repeatedly to do so.

Cereus was still in her position of power when the planet returned to it's normal universe after the introduction of the [[Trivaste]] worldship into the world's sphere of quantum influence.
