[[Deep Space 15]] is a [[Federation]] deep space station, located adjacent to a section of space contested between the [[United Federation of Planets]] and the [[Cardassian Union]]. As a result of this and due to the tensions between the two powers, the station was a permanent tactical strongpoint, that helped enforce the claim put forth by the [[UFP]]

In 2413, the [[USS Hades]] was assigned to investigate the suspicions that the stations [[Commanding Officer]], [[Rank|Captain]] William Nelson, or being either influenced or replaced by an [[Obsidian Order]] infiltrator.
