The Drov Flower is an flowering plant that grows only on the planet Jakarna II located in the Beta Quadrant, at the far side of the Romulan Star Empire. The flowers are very hearty, and produce a thick sugary dew once every three months. With proper preparation, this dew can be fermented into Droveli, a rare and unique alcohol. Attempts to genetically manipulate the genome of the flower to maximize production have failed, and likewise attempts to replicate the finished Droveli have also failed. In addition attempts to transplant the otherwise hearty plant to other planets has also failed. Because of it's somewhat delicate nature, Droveli will spoil after only a few months. This keeps demand and cost for the rare liquor high. The Drov flower is currently harvested on massive plantations. ---- Drov Flower was first mentioned in the USS Rosenante mission Touch of the Eidolon
