[[image:Samhan.jpg]] ==Character Physical Description== Eye Colour: Blue Hair Colour: Black Height: 6'1 Weight: 200 Blood Colour: Red Skin Colour: Paleish Physical Description George is somewhat tall, and probably should work out a little bit more, but he's adequate physically. His hair is kept short, and he sports a full fledged beard, just as black as his hair. His skin is paleish, and he is given to growing hair about his body more than most, which requires more care than he is willing to give. ==History, Education and Skills== ===Family and Background=== George's parents were psychologists. His father was a Counsellor for Star Fleet, so he was hardly around. His mother kept up a practice in their small northern town, which George was a regular fixture at until he grew old enough to go to school. He excelled in school, and from an early age desired to join the priesthood of the future. When his father returned he regaled his son with stories about Klingons and Cardassians. But George grew to resent his father who he discovered was not much like him at all, or maybe too much like him. ===Education=== University of Michigan Starfleet Academy ===Pre-Starfleet History=== George went to the University of Michigan where he received, in due time, a Masters in Psychology, as well as the necessary medical training to become a Psychiatrist. He worked under his parents until they retired and he took over the practice. People in the area came to be treated by his parents because they knew them and knew their style. But after a few years of George Samhan they left. Soon George was forced to close his family practice which had been in the family for three generations due to a lack of patients. His parents tried to reassure him, but he felt terrible. It was then his father died of cancer, and his mother soon afterward was killed by a heart attack. With nothing left in his home town, he joined Star Fleet to live the life of his father. ===Starfleet History=== Assigned to USS Spectre as Ensign JG and Counselor ==Other== ===Medical History=== Heart problems run in the family. Allergic to fish. ===Skills=== George is a trained Psychiatrist, though his medical knowledge is somewhat limited. He also keeps up to date on current happenings around the universe, and prides himself on his cultural knowledge of various worlds. He also knows the basic training everyone out of Star Fleet gets. In addition, he can play the violin very well. Finally, he took martial arts lessons as a child. ===Hobbies=== George enjoys playing his violin and keeping up to date on universal affairs. He also guest bar tends whenever possible, as many people enjoy his Samhan Ballbuster. He's also a bit of a culinary wannabe and usually replicates ingredients rather than the full dish. ===General Notes=== ===Awards=== [[Category: characters]]
