Habrii was the leader of the pro-isolationist faction on Beta Aquillia IV named the Veil of the Sky. He managed to lead the Veil in overthrowing the legitimate pro-Federation government of the planet, when his own attempts at repeated peaceful political change failed. Habrii was educated in the United Federation of Planets, his parents were wealthy merchants and they saw to it that their son was well-educated. It was during his days as a student that he received word that his parents ship, the Purser, had been attacked and destroyed by Orion Syndicate raiders. He became disillusioned when he discovered that Starfleet had known about increased activity in the area, but had not issued any warnings or additional patrol ships. Either of these two actions could have prevented the loss of the ship and the resulting death of his parents. Habrii filed official protests against Starfleet Command, and even petitioned the Federation Council. In the end, however, his pleas for action against those responsible for negligence saw him deported back to Beta Aquillia IV. There Habrii, returned to a life as a student. He began to take notice of a small seemingly insignificant group calling themselves the Anti-Federation League. Habrii joined, and as a result of his superior education, charisma and intellect soon found himself in control of the entire organization. He reorganized it, renamed it the Veil of the Sky and expanded upon it's principles, expanding the organizations doctrine to extend to all non-Aquillians on the planet. His methods began peacefully, organizing rallies, petitioning government and boycotting off-world operations. However after three years of effort, he realized that his efforts were not bearing as much fruit as he had hoped. Creating a quasi-militant branch of the Veil, Habrii began covertly seeking training for pro-militant activities. He recruited Alaya a militantly minded individual to help him with the organization of the Veil's more radial agenda. Habrii began to advocate, through Alaya pro-militant actions in an attempt to persuade and cajole government officials, off-worlders and other potential enemies into considering his pro-isolationist agenda. It wasn't until 2414, that Habrii and Alaya, along with the support of an unknown government managed to overthrow the legitimate government of Beta Aquillia IV. Among his plans was the abduction of several off-world ambassadors, amongst them the Federation Ambassador Joanne Turner and the Skorr Ambassador. As a result the USS Rosenante was dispatched to the planet with the mission to recover the hostages and to discover the identity of those supporting the Veil of the Sky. ---- MORE COMING SOON! ---- ---- Habrii was first seen in the USS Rosenante Mission The Veil of the Sky
