Ios Malinae is is the daughter of Sola Milanae, a Gab Geneticist, and Irvix, a Mol Worker. She is an Irlixian Clerk who despite her mixed heritage managed to gain a position at the Top Secret Seliya Facility on the planet Irlix. In 2314, She was rescued by Mike Rosenbauer when she was attacked by a group of Gab males intent on beating and raping her in a dark alleyway in Khoda City. Rosenbauer was part of the USS Rosenante's Away Team, sent to locate and rescue the crew of the USS Bohrs that were being held by Khoda Rhone. In payment for his kindness, Ios introduced Mike to Sola and later agreed to assit the away team in gaining access to the Seliya Facility, so that they could rescue the Federation Officers held there. She also aided them in locating the wreckage of the USS Medea as well as the Bohrs. ---- Ios was first seen in the USS Rosenante mission: The Gilded Man
