Meldovia three is  one of the primary planets that is called home for a faction of the [[Cartenian]] Species. It is one of the worlds of the [[Cartenian Commonwealth]] and is located adjacent to the [[Orion Syndicate]] and the [[United Federation of Planets]]. it is 45 light years from [[Arturia Prime]]. it is a [[Class M]] world.

This planet is the birthplace of Prince Khamal, who was responsible for allying the the two waring factions of the [[Cartenian]] species after 400 years of warfare. The Prince was kidnapped on route from this planet to Arturia Prime, where he would complete the alliance ceremony and complete the formation of the Cartenian Commonwealth.  Khamal was rescued by the [[USS Rosenante]] and taken to Arturia Prime to complete the ceremonial combination of the two factions into one [[Cartenian]] species.
