</div> The roots of the Battle of [[Andoria]] began with [[Admiral Doenitz]] ordering [[martial law]] on all [[Federation]] worlds. The battle began on Stardate: 2407.01.04, with orbital bombardment by ships loyal to Doentiz onto Andoria. The city of She'nah Hoorn was one of those hit hardest.<br><br> Commander [[Andorian Resistance|Torval Reen]] was the commander for the [[Andorian Self Defense Force]] and lead the ground defense of Andoria during this time. He lead several ground assaults personnally, however, after fourteen days of battle, Reen was killed in action. He became a martyr for the freedom fighters in the [[Federation]]. <br><br> The Battle of Andoria was the first of many in the Federation Civil War, and showed that the those who stand loyal to the ideals of the Federation, not Admiral Doenitz, will not go sliently into a future of oppression.
