Editing USS Bombay

The [[USS Bombay]] was a [[Miranda Class]] starship commissioned during the mid to late 2200s. The vessel was assigned to the [[Taurus Reach]] during it's career as a deterrent to [[Klingon]] and [[Tholian]] attacks against [[Federation]] [[Colony|Colonies]] in that region. 

In 2265 The Bombay discovered some ancient ruins on  the [[Class M]] [[planet]] [[Ravanar IV]]  Those ruins led to the unexpected encounter with the [[Shedai Wanderer]] which destroyed the ship with all hands.

For a while the vessel was thought to have been destroyed by Klingons, who were contesting control of the planet. It was not until later that the actual cause of the ship's destruction was uncovered.

This vessel had a Mirror Universe twin in the [[ISS Bombay]].
