Editing USS Exeter

The [[USS Exeter]] was a [[Federation]] [[starship]] of the [[Sovereign Class]] that supported [[Admiral Doenitz]] during the [[Federation Civil War]].

In 2407, the Exeter was assigned support and supply operations missions for the [[Dracul]], a converted [[D'Kora Class]] [[Ferengi]] vessel being operated by the [[Irregular Federation Forces]]. The Dracul was a privateer, attacking ships of the [[52nd Fleet]] at will.

Because that vessel was refit to only conduct such raids at short range, the Exeter was a critical  supply and support asset for the Dracul.

Responding to the threat that the Dracul represented in the area, the [[USS Boudicca]] began to hunt the raider. They managed to track the vessel to the [[Bergist System]], where they engaged the privateer.

Before they could tighten the noose on the ship, however, the Exeter arrived and joined in the conflict. Despite the damage that the Dracul had already sustained, the two ships were able to drive off the Boudicca, although the exeter was destroyed in the conflict.

Sixty crewmen were taken prisoner by the Boudicca Crew, and were interned at [[Geneva Station|Starbase Geneva]] for the remainder of the war. The Boudicca, badly damaged was forced to conduct significant repairs while at starbase as well.
