The [[Varn]] are a sentient [[humanoid]] species that were [[Assimilation|assimilated]] by the [[Borg]] sometime around 2390. They originate in the [[Delta Quadrant]]. The were betrayed by one of their own kind [[Volus]], who made an arrangement with the [[Borg Queen]].

They are designated Species 6063.

They were a telepathic species and were considered to be on par with the Ullians or Betazoids in that regards. 

The only encounter with this species by the [[United Federation of Planets]] was through the Borg at [[Dovek II]]. There the [[USS Boudicca]] and the [[USS Rosenante]] encountered [[Volus]] who was conducting an operation on behalf of the [[Borg Collective]].
