[[Velas XIX]] is a marginal [[Class M]] world located inside the [[Breen Confederation]] in the [[Alpha Quadrant]]. The [[planet]] is a key market for [[Droveli]], an alcohol derived from the Drov flower of Jakarna II.

In 2413, the [[Harveq]] was docked at [[Starbase 989]] after picking up a rather large shipment of this alcohol. It was scheduled to deliver it to Velas XIX within a week.

The planet's only inhabitants are [[Breen]] as the mixture of poisonous gases in it's atmosphere make it impossible for most other [[humanoid]]s to live there.
