[[Vrek Seg]] is the [[Nausicaan]] Cargo and Load Master aboard the [[Tellarite]] freighter [[Moarvol]]. He is a large and hulking individual, who unlike most members of his species, is a kind and caring individual. He considers himself to be the protector over his other crewmates and is a very capable combatant should the need arise.

It is rumored that Vrek was once a member of a pirate crew who attacked the [[Moarvol]] but was defeated by her captain and crew. With their life support failing, Vrek Seg was rescued by Captain [[Galzoth]] and the Nausicaan pledged him his loyalty in gratitude. Since then, other members of the crew have come and gone, but Seg always remains with his captain.

In 2413, He and the rest of the crew of the Moarvol were mining magnesite in the [[Zeta Draconis System]] when they inadvertently contracted an infestation of [[Vexarak Spoiler]]s.

They then brought the infestation to [[Starbase 989]], where it was introduced to the station through the bulk storage tanks. The shipment of Magnesite was scheduled to be smelted into bars for easy use and transportation to another shipper.
