Life is often abundant on Class M planets; they contain extensive vegetation, animal life and often have native humanoids.
Examples of Class M planets include: Earth (Sol III), Vulcan, Cardassia Prime, Bajor, Romulus, Ferenginar, Skoria and Qo'noS.
