The USS Majestic is a starship of the Miranda Class that was assigned patrol duties along the Orion - Federation Border.
In 2379, the majestic was conducting a scientific survey of a dead planet, when they were attacked by Orion raiders, whose ships were of an unknown classification. The ship placed a distress signal which was answered by the USS Tanzania.
The Tanzania responded to find the Majestic under attack by Orion Raiders in a ship class never before encountered. The ship was badly damaged and was in threat of being destroyed. The Tanzania moved to engage the combatants, placing themselves between the badly mauled Miranda Class ship and her assailants.
