"Brick Wall" 1st Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Alpha Platoon, 1st Cochrane
Company
The original Squad CO was a large guy when he created this squad, to hit him was to 'hit a brick
wall'

"For the Cause" 2nd Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Alpha Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
Named by a very patriotic man, who was always quoted as saying 'Id given anything for the cause."
He did so, in giving his life during an offensive action against the Romulans.
Patch: The Federation Seal on a field of Blue and black.
Motto: We Shall Not Fail
"Ever Watchful" 3rd Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Alpha Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
Renamed after a triumphant success while the men of this squad were pulling double-duty and scouting a battle-ground. They found the enemy first, losses that day were minimal due to thier close watch.

"Fair-play" 4th Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Alpha Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
No one quite knows how this squad was named, popular legend has it that the Squad CO liked to take chances and dares, actions that went against all battlefield science. When asked why, he would say 'All is fair in love and war.'

Beta Platoon[edit]
"Father to All" 1st Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Beta Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
This squad has one of the highest Sergeant rates in the entire Division, nearly every member is at least a buck sergeant. Due to that, it also has men of the highest age in the Division.

Motto: Savage is he that saves himself
"Starlight" 2nd Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Beta Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
The SquadXO actually named this squad, as he is light-sensitive and never goes into open sunlight without his BDU or other appropriate clothing. Their first squad meeting was held after sunset on Earth, where they generally agreed upon the name Starlight

Motto: By the light of the moon, we come.
"Nightfall" 3rd Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Beta Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
Named by a woman whose race comes from a very dark planet, with a slow rotation. She (and likewise, her squad) operates best in the dark, and it is only the stupid MCO that doesn't let them have their head come Nightfall.

"For Love of Peace" 4th Squad (Infantry/Rifleman), Beta Platoon, 1st Cochrane Company
The name is a joke, the Squad CO originally chose the name 'Flop' as his squad name, but nearly every member of the squad said No. He changed the name, so that at least the initials would be F.L.O.P.
