A glycoprotein is a type of molecule composed of carbohydrates and protein that can be prescribed as a form of nutritional supplement.
In 2374, The Doctor prescribed 250 grams of glycoproteins consisting of 53% polypeptides and 26% fibrous glycogen as part of Seven of Nine's nutritional requirements. (VOY: "The Raven")
