Hyvroxilated Quint-Ethyl Metacetamine is a powerful anesthetic that if incorrectly dosed will cause death in the patient. It is most often used during extensive surgeries where the patient is allergic or unresponsive to other anesthetics. This drug is most often used on Klingons and Cardassians as they have a higher resistance to other more mainstream Anesthetics.
