A Denevan crystal is a gemstone from Deneva.
In 2374, Quark acquired fifteen cases of (allegedly) stolen Denevan crystals, which he sold to a Nausicaan entrepreneur for 200 bars of gold-pressed latinum. Odo was aware of the deal but allowed Quark to proceed, as Quark's attempts to manipulate Odo into leaving station security for a night actually helped him in arranging his anniversary celebration with Kira Nerys.
