Edosian Suckerfish

The Edosian Suckerfish is a water-dwelling creature native to the Edosian homeworld. The fish resembles the catfish of planet Earth and was valued by 22nd century doctors, including Phlox, for its alleged medicinal purposes.
In 2370, William T. Riker played the Chef of 22nd century starship Enterprise NX-01 in a holodeck simulation. While playing the role, he hoped to cook Edosian suckerfish for Charles Tucker III, whose favorite meal was catfish. "Chef Riker" planned to supplement catfish with the Edosian suckerfish, hoping that it tasted like catfish as well. (ENT: "These Are the Voyages...")
