Temporal Wave
In 2304, the Hades encountered a bizarre Temporal Wave, that caught up the vessel and launched her along with several other starships, many from the 52nd Fleet forward in time five years.
The ships that had been affected returned to the exact locations that they had disappeared from. Currently it is believed that this event is connected to the Subspace River and that it was somehow activated by the Borg.
It is speculated that the Subspace River is a living entity originally created by the Founders to help them locate and seed life across the Milky Way Galaxy by connecting all the Class M worlds and locking them into the same Temporal sequence. It is believed that when the Borg discovered this ability, they wished to exploit it in order to assimilate all known worlds. Their efforts were thwarted by the USS Spectre but not before the sequence w that lay dormant in the river was activated and swept through the galaxy displacing starships rather than worlds into a time stream roughly five years into the future.
The wave was comprised of comprised of Chronitons and an unidentified particle known as Seylerions and was moving at a speed greater than warp ten.
The Temporal Wave was seen in the USS Hades mission Reflections in the Sand as well as the USS Rosenante mission The Quondam Season
