Color II
The planet Color II is a Class M world located at the edge of Federation Space. In 2414, the USS Boudicca was sent to survey the world to ensure that they were conforming to the necessary qualifiers for future membership within the United Federation of Planets.
The planet possessed advanced Geothermal core energy and was technologically similar to the Federation. There were several aspects of the planet that was to be reviewed, including government, medical, technology and similar programs.
However, just before arrival, the Boudicca lost contact with the planet and could not reestablish communications prior to their arrival.
Away teams beamed down to the surface of the world encountered strange zombie-like creatures that were believed to be inhabitants of the colony world.
