Star Trek: Freedom Player.
Brief Overview
I'm only 16 years old, which explains my immaturatity (see quotes below). It seems at my birthday they raise the minium age for the game. Hopefully I won't get kicked out. ;) And, with all the controversy that 16 year olds have been causing in the game has of late, who knows how long my kind will last?
So, enough about me and more about... uh, me.
My Characters
- Lieutenant Brian Rogers - First Officer - USS Spectre - PC
- Lieutenant Khran - Chief Tactical/Security Chief - USS Dennison - SPC
- Lieutenant {JG} Francisco Mendez - Assistant Chief Engineering Officer - USS Nimitz - SPC
- Lieutenant {JG} Burt Stover - Instructor - Starfleet Academy - SPC
- Lieutenant {JG} David Taxia - Counselor - USS Spectre - SPC
- Lieutenant (JG) Chenoll - Assistant Chief Engineering Officer - USS Spectre - SPC
- Petty Officer {2nd} Jason Miller - Engineer - USS Boudicca - SPC
Goals
My goal is to have at least one SPC on every ship, but not for the sake of having an SPC, because I really like posting. I go through high-low phases in posting. High is where I post a lot and go crazy and get like 10 posts in one night. Low is where it could be a week when I only post once, and even then it is a sad, tiny little cut-and-paste post.
My other goal is to one day join the ranks of a command staff some where. I was Acting Third Officer for a while on Geneva, and I got to command Geneva for a while our fearless acting CO was away. I really liked it. Also, when I was playing a First Officer on the USS Raven submission, I really enjoyed that too. I'm also a trained compile artist, The Compile Centicore.
See my To Do List for other goals.
Sandbox

Epigraphs
I'm also a big fan of Epigraphs. A Epigraph is a quotation that is placed at the start of a work or section that expresses in some succinct way an aspect or theme of what is to follow. (see above) I really like them for some reason, who knows why. I think its a classy touch.

My STF Career
2005
My e-mails are a bit werid in the early days, not all dates exact.
- March 1st - Sent application to join.
- March 4th - Reported in to Academy
- March 11th - Graduated from Academy, reported to Starbase Geneva has Ensign Brian Rogers.
- March 15th - Started love plot with Kaitlyn Mackenzie. I have never lived it down since.
- April 5th - Jeff told me my romance plot was freaking people out. Thank god he did.
- April 6th (roughly) - My first CO, and instructor, Katherine Mazurok, goes on extended LOA because of RL problems (from what I was told) this kind of leaves Geneva in limbo regarding command. She came back a few times for like two days, but never really got back in command.)
- June - Geneva hits her stride, and we explode with posts. (I'm not taking credit for this, its just pretty cool).
- July - Another blockbuster month for the big ole' Starbase.
- July 14th - USS Raven submission starts. The single best mission I've ever played in, to date. I played a first officer. A bit of foreshadowing? ;-)
- July 28 - In the biggest plot twist ever, Paul Casely (Geneva's 2O, played by Jeff) makes Rogers Acting Third Officer to help him deal with his drug issues. After only four months, I'm put in the saddle.
- August 3rd - Jeff leaves for a very long (European-style) vacation, for practically the whole month, leaving me in command of Geneva. Talk about throwing me into the deep end. It wasn't that bad, has he set me up with my own little plot to command while he was gone. However, during this time, I almost had a neverous breakdown, since I felt I was doing horribly and my compiles were late.
- August 28th - Jeff returns, and I almost quit the game because I think I did such a horrible job, despite being told otherwise. Then, a few words from Alan Reading helped me decide to stay in the game. ("A pint cannot hold a quart, if it's holding a pint it's doing the best it can.")
(to be finished)
