Physical Description[edit]
Vex is a slender young Betazoid. She has brown/red hair with black eyes and a can do attitude.
Family and Background[edit]
Vex was considered too young by her parents to be throwing her life away by joining the StarFleet Academy, they tried to convince her otherwise but her steadfast resolve meant that once she had made her mind up there was no stopping her. She had come into her telepathic abilities around the age of 11 1/2 and began training immediately under private tutelage that her parents purchased. Vex prefers the quiet and coldness that machines bring, which is what lead her fascination from an early age in the subject of of Mechanical Engineering.
Vex's family moved to Earth when she was fairly young due to the family business being set up and moved. She was sent to a private school at the age of 11/12, specifically for Betazed children.

Starfleet[edit]
Having spent large portions of her young life with her nose inside of a book, or hands inside of an engine, she prefers working by herself. Something that came as a shock to her system upon joining the academy was the reliance on others to get a job done. It has taken her some time, but she has now become comfortable with sharing duties and communicating with fellow colleagues. On graduation her parents sent for her to return to Betazed and use the knowledge she had gained and skills learnt within their private estate. She has refused, wishing to learn more about the Universe she lives in and refuses to be holed up in one place for the rest of her life.
Medical[edit]
Having come across her telepathic powers at an early age and having extensive tutelage around handling her powers, she has a stronger than normal control over them at the age she is.
