Dovek II
Dovek II is a planet located on the edge of Federation territory, along the border with the Romulan Star Empire. It is only a few Light Years from the division between the Alpha Quadrant and the Beta Quadrant.
The planet was once a world part of the the mysterious and long-extinct Tkon Empire. It is believed that the planet was once Class M, but is now marginally Class N. The world is desolate and only a very few hearty life forms can exist on the planet.
In 2414, the USS Rosenante and the USS Boudicca performed a joint mission to this planet when reports of Borg activity in the area were confirmed. Prior to that time, the planet was not considered tactically significant.
