The Mill is a sector of space located in the Ikev Sector of federation space. The sector is located adjacent to the Cardassian Federation border. The area is generally considered a navigational hazard due to a large number of asteroids in that region containing high concentrations of magnesite ore. this concentration of Ore made it diffuclt to navigate through the debris field as Navigational sensors were ineffective.
