Anyon

Anyons are subatomic particles that are reasonably rare in normal space. Anyon emissions, created by an anyon emitter, can be used to eliminate chroniton fields.

In 2368, Commander Data flooded the USS Enterprise-D with an anyonic sweep to eradicate unusual levels of chroniton particles that were discovered aboard the ship. A flood of these particles into the Ten Forward lounge was also able to neutralize the effects created by a Romulan interphase generator and de-phase Ensign Ro Laren and Geordi La Forge.
