Family and Background[edit]

Aurik comes from a large family with 6 brothers and 1 sister. Two of his brothers are married - though he is not - and one has three children.

Education[edit]

Raised on Takara, Aurik attended the normal public schooling until it became apparent that he required the discipline of a military atmosphere. He was given a choice where he would attend and chose Starfleet Marines.

During Basic Training Aurik showed an aptitude for Ballistics Engineering as well as his high skill in Marksmanship. He was rained and maintains current CE levels, primarily in sniper and ballistics training.

Personal History[edit]

Aurik had a somewhat troubled youth, having to compete with several male siblings caused him to lash out in increasingly volatile ways until his family had no recourse other than pack him off to military training.

Pre-Starfleet History[edit]

Early years spent on Takara. Aurik had a reputation amongst his school fellows as a crack shot when hunting Takaran wildebeasts.

Starfleet History[edit]

Aurik Barsh is a dedicated Career Marine and has risen steadily through the ranks. Below is a synopsis of his promotions. Note that in 2406 Aurik received several field promotions, this is owing to the Federation Civil War. When the Civil War was over Aurik was approached to become a commissioned MO because of the high numbers of Marines that lost their lives during the conflict.
