Bakrinium is a mineral ore mined on some planets. In 2372, a Vulcan expedition was prospecting for bakrinium on a planet in the Gamma Quadrant when they discovered some Hur'q ruins, containing the Shroud of the Sword. (DS9: "The Sword of Kahless")
