Physical Description[edit]
Gr'iann is average height for a Caitian. He keeps in good physical shape. His heavy mane is brown, while the rest of his body is covered in a tan fur, kept immaculate and short. He maintains his weight and strength through daily exercise and work in the martial arts.
Family[edit]
Gr'iann's family was killed by a homicidal Caitian, which is a rarity in itself. Caitians are generally peaceful, loathing any violence, and taking an oath of pacifism at the age of maturity, 12. So when his parents were killed he had a hard time dealing with that, and his own anger.

Educated by his clan on Caitia Prime.
Pre-Starfleet History[edit]
Gr'iann was born on Caitia Prime. His parents died while he was young at the hands of a criminal. Gr'iann was then raised by his clan. His anger over the untimely death of his parents made it difficult to maintain his pacifism. But through the help of the clans doctor he was able to overcome it. As it was he did not take his oath of pacifism until his 14th birthday. Gr'iann followed his mentor into the field of medicine and became one of the top physicians on Caitia Prime. He was on the team that found the cure for the Caitian Plague. After that, Gr'iann went to other planets to study their medical techniques. It was during this time that he came to the aid of a Starfleet vessel. His performance so impressed the captain of the vessel that he was recommended to Starfleet medical.
Starfleet History[edit]
After graduating from the academy he became CMO at DSG1. He remained there until appointed a Chief Research position at Starfleet medical. Promoted to Rear Admiral, and Mission Chief Medical Officer.

Hobbies[edit]
Holds black belts in several forms of Martial Arts, including Aikido and Karate. Reading romance novels- but nobody better say anything about that.
