Iradonian
An Iradonian is a native of the planet Iradon.
The members of the species are humanoid bipeds and possess two genders.
They possess a series of brow ridges that extend to either side of their head. Most Iradonians part their hair in order to show off their ridges.
All Iradonians possess a unique quantum signature. They do not originate in the Prime Universe, as their planet is trapped in a cyclic Interdimensional Rift. This rift only makes contact with the Normal universe once every 1,000 years.
The Iradonian culture is similar to that of Medieval Earth although there are signs that they once possessed technology further advanced that the Federation.
In 2407, crew from the USS Boudicca visited that planet in an attempt to rescue Eva Straton. Arania McLaren is a native of that world who came to the Prime universe to marry Matthew McLaren who had broken the Prime Directive and took her from her home so that there would be no choice but to allow her to stay.
The planet is currently in it's own universe and Arania is the sole member of her species.
The Iradonian culture and language was derived from Iconian culture and language and it is believed that Iradon was once an Iconian colony world.
