Joba
Joba is the capital city of the planet Beta Aquillia IV. It is a coastal city and houses all the Embassies of the various worlds which hold diplomatic relations with the Aquillian government.
In 2414, The city became the center for a tense situation between the United Federation of Planets, The Cardassian Union, the Skorr Hierarchy and the Romulan Star Empire when a pro-isolationist group known as the Veil of the Sky overthrew the pro-Federation government there in a surprise military coup.
During this time, the USS Rosenante was dispatched to secure the freedom of the Federation Ambassador Joanne Turner and her staff as well as conduct evacuation operations and provide security for refugees displaced by the fighting.
It was in this city, that Captain Ahmed Ibn Salid ordered refugee camps, and mobile command centers set up, during the mission. He also relied upon the relative security of the off-shore hotel, Atlantis Station during the crisis.
