Jonathan Jackson
Jonathan Jackson is the biological father of Lieutenant Thomas Jackson. He was a civil engineer during his life, and was a well-respected member of the Utopia Colony community. He often tutored school children and was active in community action groups and committees. He contracted a deadly, but rare, genetic brain disease, which left him bedridden for a year before he finally succumbed and died from his affliction. His son Thomas was 12 at the time of his death.
Jonathan was buried with full honors on Mars, and over ten thousand people turned out to honor his life. He was survived by his son Thomas Jackson and his wife of thirteen years Martha Jackson. He was a direct descendant of the famous American Civil War General Thomas "Stonewall" Jackson.
