Kieto Sayoma
Lieutenant Kieto Sayoma is the Chief of Operations currently serving on Starbase 989, located on the Romulan - Federation border.
He is a friend and confidant to Lieutenant Adraa Mosul and was the first to advise her that Captain Joseph Taylor the Base commanding officer was having an affair with the Starbase CMO Gena Harvey.
Later when Captain Taylor was murdered, this fact made Adraa a suspect.
Sayoma is a devout Buddhist and as such is a pacifist.
During the chaos aboard the station created by an infestation of Vexarak Spoilers, Sayoma worked closely with crewmembers from the USS Rosenante and the USS Boudicca to coordinate relief efforts caused by the destruction that the insects caused and the subsequent loss of power.
Kieto Sayoma was first seen in the USS Rosenante Mission Touch of the Eidolon. He was also seen in the joint USS Rosenante and USS Boudicca mission Just Another Saturday Night.
