Outwardly, Klagth appears to be an average Klingon, though he is overweight and is rumored to be a drunk. He has an even temperament and isn't prone to outbursts. He lived on Axtis III most of his adult life, and spent much of his time alone. He was often found working as a bookie for sporting events and tournaments.
Klagth's great-grandfather was accused of, and found guilty of being a traitor to the Empire, though there were rumors it was actually someone else belonging to a more influential House. Because of this, Klagth was forced to bear the dishonor, so he left the Klingon home world when he was young. He floated from job to job, working as a mercenary, an enforcer, or whatever he could find.
Not much is known about it, but he once worked for Turrel Mousette, a leader of one of the families in the Orion Syndicate. He left for unknown reasons and settled on Axtis III. Years later, he helped Starfleet officers, Ben Soma and Sanok, locate Marah Neru, a Bajoran woman that was in a relationship with Soma. The rescue took place on Aldavye, Mousette's headquarters. During the rescue, Klagth was wounded and sacrificed himself so Soma, Sanok, and Marah could escape. His fate is unknown.
